 Bright and sparkling windows are liked by everyone. But these get dirty very often, a small dust becomes visible on it. They take all the dust from outside world on them and thus protect your building and keep it clean. So there time to time cleaning is also very important. Window cleaning is not an easy task, especially in the building having many floors. You need technique and care in cleaning them as they are dangerous too.

Here are some useful tips for window cleaning at home:

1. The first step is to clean the loose dust, dirt and cobwebs with vacuum cleaner. Once this is done properly it’s easy to wash the window and there will be less unwanted residue.
2. Clean the edges in horizontal and vertical stroke. This helps you to identify the streak in window.
3. Whiling cleaning window sills use a damp cloth sprayed with alcohol and rub the surface. It clears the spots and gives shine.
4. Clean the corners with a cotton swab. You can also use a flexible toothbrush which can reach the ends.
5. For cleaning greasy windows use some vinegar in water or chemicals like baking soda or washing powder. These chemicals help in removing grease without leaving strains. Rub window in a particular direction, preferably up and down motion.
6. While cleaning window at height use a ladder and make sure that the security clip is on. And the base of the ladder is perfectly fixed so that it can’t move.
7. Spray on window and then rub softly with a dry cloth. Don’t use water buckets for this.
